Ok Guys,
It is that time of the season to start thinking about your cast bios!!! I want you to post them here to the blog and I will take them from here and put them in the program! Below are some good examples of bios from the musical program! Now, you may be as creative as you want BUT, Mr. Feeser and I have every right to change them. Remember, all of the audiences that come to see our show will see your bio so make it professional! If you have any questions, see me at rehearsal. Also, I will post the due date for these REALLY soon, but the sooner I have them the better off you will be!
Good examples of bios (please set them up exactly like this):
[glow=red,2,300]Dru Kepner (Reno Sweeney) is thrilled to be returning to the Big Spring stage this year as a Junior. Dru's past stage experiences include the Nightingale and Lady Lucille in Once Upon a Mattress, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical, and Jan in the Carlisle Theatre Company production of Grease. Dru is an active member of Chorus, Cantabile, Festival Chorus, NHS, Club Care, Tri-M, and the varsity basketball team. She would like to thank first and foremost her little sister Danielle for all her help in memorizing lines. She would also like to thank her other friends and family for all of their support! She would finally like to thank all of the wonderful directors for their patience and encouragement. She would like everyone to “Enjoy the show! Its Fabulous!”[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]Travis Gilbert (Sir Evelyn Oakleigh) is a junior this year. Travis is a veteran to the Big Spring Stage, playing the unforgettable and comical Mayor of Whoville in the 2009 spring production of Seussical the Musical. Travis’ other appearances on stage include Rumors, Once Upon a Mattress, Murder me Always, and All Over but the Shooting. Outside of the theater, Travis is president of the junior class, involved with Student Council, and a reporter for the school newspaper. He is the student representative to the Pennsylvania State Board of Education and represents the 1.8 million K-12 students in the commonwealth, along with being involved in various state-wide and national political campaigns. Travis is also currently is working on his Eagle Project. Travis would like to thank the entire cast for all the memories, the directors for their tireless work, and the parents of the cast members for their unwavering support. Travis hopes the audience enjoys the show as much as he enjoys performing it![/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]Kayla Himes (Hope Harcourt) is a sophmore this year. This is not her first experience under the bright stage lights. She was in last year’s musical playing a Who in Seussical. She not only is involved in musicals but also theater club performances and fall plays. She played roles such as a Cratchit daughter in A Christmas Carol and Catherin Simms in The Foreigner. She would like to thank a few people. First, her parents for being willing to put up with the crazy practice schedule and for taking the time to help her with lines and pick her up from practice. Next, Mr. Feeser, Tyler Wonders, Dan Dorty, Miss Henchey, and Bradley Drawbaugh for all their hard work to make this year's musical so fantastic. Last, her amazing friends for always making practice fun with crazy moments and laughs.”Here's to a great year!”[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]Caitlin Corbosiero (Bonnie) is a Sophomore this year. She first joined Theatre Club, then early fall she tried out for the 2008 fall play "Rumors" and got the lead of Claire. After the fall play, she tried out for the musical "Suessical". She was a Who in the musical. She has also been in some Theatre club productions. Over that summer she was in Carlisle Theater’s production of "Oliver!”. In the 2009 fall play at Big Spring, she was cast with her good friend Molly Elvin in a double cast as "Ellie". This production was entered into the Apollo Award competition. After the show, Caitlin was nominated as Outstanding Supporting Actress. She is now very proud to be in this wonderful musical as a lead! She wants to thank everyone including Mama Keen for helping her and always being there giving her some good laughs along the way. "None of you guys change one bit! You are my family!"-Caitlin Corbosiero. She would like everyone to have a wonderful time at this evenings show! [/glow]
